Information Literacy Framework

Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education

The six concepts below, authored by the Association of College & Research Libraries, can be used as building blocks for student learning in the library, classroom, and beyond. Information literacy concepts can be scaffolded into the curriculum, in any order, building from general understanding to disciplinary knowledge and application. Read the introduction, the full version of the framework, and an introduction for faculty.
