Women in Sports

AWSM works to promote and increase diversity in sports media through our internship/scholarship program as well as through mentoring links and career-enhancement initiatives.

"The NCAA Office of Inclusion provides programming and education that sustains foundations of a diverse and inclusive culture across dimensions of diversity including but not limited to age, race, sex, class, national origin, creed, educational background, religion, gender identity, disability, gender expression, geographical location, income, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation and work experiences."

Provides a huge amount of information and links to additional resources for athletes, coaches, parents, and educators on women's sports.

A research center, located at the University of Minnesota, with a focus on "how sport and physical activity affect the lives of girls and women, their families, and communities."
