What is Web of Science?
- A database of scholarly literature citations (see video at right for more details)
- Indexes scholarly sources across the disciplines: sciences, social sciences, and humanities (not just science!)
- Allows users to follow citations and discover related research (again, see video at right for more details)

- Cover-to-cover indexing of scholarly literature back to 1900 across the world’s highest-quality and most impactful publications
- Follow citations using "Cited Reference Searching" to discover research connections
- Full text, when available, may be located via Hewes Library, using the

- Conference proceedings and some books are also indexed
